  Composer Bio

Noah received his BA in music composition from the University of Chicago. There he studied classical orchestration, composition and tonal harmony with noted composers Easley Blackwood and John Eaton. Noah’s Honors Thesis, a four movement string quartet, won the prestigious Olga and Paul Menn Foundation prize for original composition.

An accomplished musician, Noah brings an intensity and passion to all of his scoring projects. As a pianist, Noah has appeared in concert performing repertoire from classical to ragtime to contemporary. Most recently, Noah has performed several of the challenging Chopin Etudes in concert, as well as presenting the premiere of his own Sonata for Clarinet and Piano. For four years, Noah served as accompanist for the improvised comedy troupe Off-Off Campus, to rave reviews.

In 1999 Noah founded an independent video game studio, Chewy Software. There, he served as both Audio Lead and Producer for a variety of original and client titles. Chewy achieved a breakthrough hit for Hasbro with the million-plus selling plug-n’-play game Dreamlife. Other projects ranged from Noah’s own original puzzle-game design, Tricena, to the Sci-Fi RPG epic Riftwalker. Outside of work, Noah appeared as guest lecturer on Video Game Sound Design at Wheaton College.

Noah currently resides with his wife in Los Angeles, where he is pursuing a variety of film, TV and game projects.
